Al-Nakba
The Nakba is an Arabic term used to describe the ‘catastrophe’ of 1948 when Zionist gangs perpetrated a genocidal assault on the indigenous people of Palestine, causing mass destruction, murder and the forced removal of tens of thousands of Palestinians from their homes and villages. Much of this was hidden from the world but the Palestinian Resistance movement have kept the memory alive by commemorating the Nakba on 15 May and demanding the Right of Return.
