Global Sumud Flotilla: Challenging Israeli naval blockage on Gaza
Sep 27, 2025 #SABCNews Organisers of the Global Sumud Flotilla have vowed to continue challenging the Israeli naval blockade on Gaza.
The flotilla, which was struck by a drone attack earlier this week, comprises around 50 civilian boats that carry essential supplies such as milk, baby formula, diapers, and medical equipment to support Gaza’s 2 million residents living under siege.
This announcement follows Italy’s calls for a compromise to avoid further risks. Bonolo Maribe compiled this report for SABC News.
