A “Walk for Freedom” is being held in Lenasia south of Johannesburg in support of the people of Palestine who continue to endure hardships and attacks by Israeli soldiers. SABC News Reporter Calvin Dludla catches up with Naazim Adam from the Palestine Solidarity Alliance.

Organisers of the Global Sumud Flotilla have vowed to continue challenging the Israeli naval blockade on Gaza.

The flotilla, which was struck by a drone attack earlier this week, comprises around 50 civilian boats that carry essential supplies such as milk, baby formula, diapers, and medical equipment to support Gaza’s 2 million residents living under siege.

This announcement follows Italy’s calls for a compromise to avoid further risks. Bonolo Maribe compiled this report for SABC News.
